Virtual Learning Center

Traditional educational materials can present significant barriers for children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Dense text, large amounts of information, and lessons that move at a fixed pace can make it difficult for students to understand, retain, and engage with the material, even when they are bright and capable.

The Kol Koreh Virtual Learning Center is designed to make academic content more accessible to these students. Developed in collaboration with experts in education and evidence-based intervention, its lessons break complex subjects into clear, manageable sections and present information through a variety of formats, including audio, video, games, visual supports, and other interactive features.

This multisensory approach allows students to access information in ways that complement their individual learning needs and strengths. Rather than relying primarily on independent reading, students can listen, watch, interact, review, and practice as they progress through each lesson.

Learning at Each Student’s Own Pace

The Virtual Learning Center gives students greater control over their learning experience. They can:

• Pause whenever they need additional processing time
• Rewind and review material that was difficult to understand
• Repeat lessons and activities to reinforce important concepts
• Skip ahead when they have already mastered a topic
• Engage with content through multiple formats
• Learn in a private, supportive environment without feeling pressured or embarrassed

By giving students the time and flexibility they need, the Virtual Learning Center helps reduce frustration and allows them to focus on understanding the subject matter. As students experience greater success, they can become more confident, motivated, and independent learners.

Accessible in Hebrew and English

Materials are being developed in both Hebrew and English, expanding access for students from different linguistic and educational backgrounds. The lessons can be used at home, in school, or as a supplement to individualized educational intervention.

Building a Growing Educational Resource

The Kol Koreh Virtual Learning Center is beginning with lessons on Jewish holidays and Tanach. Over time, we plan to expand the platform to include science, history, mathematics, and other subjects across the school curriculum.

Our goal is to create a growing library of high-quality, accessible educational materials that gives children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities meaningful access to the same knowledge as their peers, and the opportunity to discover that they are capable, successful learners.
